The photography, art, and ramblings of a socially-awkward, brain tumor survivor. Life is a journey. Art is my guide. Come along!
Author: From The Mind of Moey
I lived much of my life confused, feeling like I didn't fit in, and trying to be "good enough". I got sick for 5 years and found out finally that I had a brain tumor. I had surgery in December of 2018 to remove the tumor from the geographic center of my brain.
I lived most of my life afraid and trying to be someone else. I survived and beat a brain tumor. I am done being afraid.
I like to create beautiful, unique things. I take phots from interesting angles and like to play with it digitally. I like to write. I like to paint. I like to create other pieces of art.
I am going to live my fullest life.
Life is a journey.
Art is my guide.
Come along!
The snow is finally starting to melt around here. Reminders that there are other seasons are peaking through. I don’t know about you, but I am sure ready for some Spring refreshment.

On 12/10/18, I had a craniotomy to remove the tumor from my Pineal Gland. I have since created a few Pineal Cyst/Tumor Awareness designs that I can use for all sorts of art, from canvas prints to tee-shirts to tote bags to tattoos. This one I am actually going to be getting as a tattoo, adding my surgery date to it somewhere. Spread the word, folks! Pineal Cyst/Tumor Awareness.
Sometimes, having to take the dog outside in the freezing cold weather has it’s perks. It has been very snowy and icy in my area so far this year. Ice covered surfaces are fun to photograph. Brrrrrrr…nature sure is beautiful.
I love to create beautiful and interesting things. I want to share those things with you! Please enjoy perusing my pages. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you are interested in purchasing any art.
In October 2018, I took a 2400-mile road trip from my home to a consultation with a neurosurgeon for removal of my brain tumor. Although the reason for the trip was scary, I was determined to make the trip fun. So, I dropped FREE ART the entire trip. I dropped free art in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This is a photo of all of the FREE ART that I dropped.
